Boy these first 20 weeks have gone quick! The last couple weeks, starting at 17 have been the most fun so far. Mainly for the fact of all the movement. This little boy is a mover. He is on the routine though of being the most active while we're laying down in bed at about 9:30/10:00 p.m. I wonder if he'll stick to that once he's out. If so, looks like I'll be going on 3rd shift :)
In addition to being 20 weeks, all of the nursery furniture came in this past week and we finally have it all put together and its looking like an actual nursery. We put each item where we 'think' we'll want it when little man comes. We got a new rug and now just waiting for his bedding set to come in the mail from the states.
Awesome story though, Saturday Jay and I spent almost the entire morning picking out the swing, bouncer, excersaucer and high chair that we would order from the NEX which would have had to been shipped on a vessel and would have taken a couple months to get here. With Presidents Day on Monday we thought lets wait till then and go up to the BX to see what they have since we needed a crib mattress anyway and the NEX on Big Navy was all out. So after Amanda and I got done with out pedis and Jay got done with golf we went to Andersen only to look in the sale flyer and see that everything we were going to order online was on sale there. We rushed back to the baby department and picked up a mattress, a swing, a highchair/bouncy combo, an excersaucer and some clothes that were on sale. Talk about lucking out!! We ended up saving about $200 on everything. Talk about a good trip up to Andersen and thank you Air Force for actually having stuff that we need.
Here's what we got:
Graco Duo Swing n' Bounce
