Thought this was interesting

Sitting here taking a break from cleaning and was going through pictures on the computer. I came across the ones from Navy Ball in October 2010 which happened to be the month I got pregnant. I also noticed that I pose just about the same way in pictures which worked out perfectly to compare before preggo to now..

So now presenting...BEFORE PREGGO and 7 Months Preggo (35lbs heavier)

Hopefully I'll be in the mood to go to the Corpsman Ball on June 11th because I'll be 36 weeks and it'd be a fun picture to compare that one to pre-preggo.

P.S I can't wait to pop this kid out and get back to looking like before!!!

Good...no wait GREAT news!

Monday I had my ultrasound that was to find out the my placenta previa had fixed itself. The tech said that the measurements she got during the scan was saying Jackson is 2lb 12oz. Now I know thats not always correct but it works for me!
Anywho, I got a call later in the day from one of the OB doctors to tell me that the placenta previa was gone! I am clear to have a vaginal birth and do some extra activities with Jay but I won't mention what that would be ;)

Not so excited OB appointment a good thing

I had my routine OB appointment that is every 4 weeks today. I saw once again a different doctor which is actually a good thing, that way I will know all of them when its time for Jackson to come, since whichever OB Doctor that is on call will be the one to deliver him.

Anyways, his heartbeat was good, in the 150's and as for me my blood pressure was great. As for my weight.. well thats another story. When I looked down at the scale I wanted to throw it.. haha well not really cause I don't actually feel as big as I weight. How much you ask? Lets just say that I've almost gained the most "recommended" weight for my health and body type which is 35lbs.

Next week I have my U/S that will determine if the placenta previa is still present. If its NOT than I am green to go for a vaginal birth, providing mother nature agrees.
If it IS present then I will be guaranteed a C-section because of the health risk for me and Jackson. The doctor said that they usually try to do the C-section at/around 37 weeks to prevent me from going into labor.

So I guess the next time I write I will be letting you all know the news. Either way I am okay with as long as me and baby are healthy.

Until next time... Adios!

Sorry I haven't posted in so long

Nothing has really been going on with Jackson, I guess thats a good thing because it means everything is okay.
This Sunday is the baby shower here in Guam, thrown by Miss Amanda and Carrie, two of my best friends on island.
Upcoming dates that I'll be posting about: April 13th I have my 27 week OB appointment. This is just my regular every 4 weeks appointment where they check the babies growth. Then April 18th I have an U/S to check the status of my Placenta Previa. Hopefully since it was only partial it moved up which would allow me to have the chance of giving birth vaginally, which I REALLY want.

Good news that doesn't obtain to baby.... I'm extremely proud to announce that Jay was chosen for the 2010 Guam USO Navy Service Member of the Year, as well as Naval Hospital Guam's Senior Sailor of the Quarter. I'm so happy that all of his hard work is paying of somehow. The USO Gala is on the 16th, which means I get to find a formal dress that fits over this belly of mine but at least I'll be able to wear the dress at the Corpsman Ball if I'm feeling up for it. I will be 1 day shy of 36 weeks for that so we'll see.

Thats all for now, I'll update after the OB and U/S appointments.
