Tuesday morning I went in for our weekly NST. Jackson wasn't as active enough so they had a more in depth u/s done to see how he was doing. Doc said he was moving fine then, just was tired during the NST. Doc did a cerival exam to make sure everything was fine (to see if I had infections or anything which came back negative) but as I was putting my clothes back on I started having bleeding so they rushed me to MBU to get fully monitored and to get IV.
I was having contractions and continued to bleed for a couple more hours. Then bleeding stopped in the afternoon but I was still contracting about every 2 minutes. Some I felt, some I didn't. They checked my cervix and I was closed so they just kept an eye on me.
I had to stay overnight because of still having contractions and they started me on steriod shots for a "just incase" Jackson does come it will help his lung development.
Wednesday I was still having contractions but they were spaced out and diminishing. I had to stay yet another night to finish up my last couple steroid shots and by evening time contractions had fully gone away.
Had a last NST while admitted this morning and Jackson was great for that. Plenty of movement.
At 0900 I had an anatomy u/s, everything looks great with him and he's estimated to weigh 5lb 4oz right now.
After coming back from the u/s they discharged me and told me not to come back until at least for another 3 weeks or so. lol. I totally agreed!!!
Im not on bed rest and can do normal activites because it was preterm labor. Doc is saying it was most likely from uterus irritability, possibly from her checking my cervix.
My little man and I are doing fine
